A report about the Incan civilization in elementary school was a first introduction to camelids. The drawings and information about alpacas and llamas began the fascination. When we learned that alpaca fiber and clothing was used by royalty, this added to the enthrallment. More information over the years led us to find out how great alpaca garments are and how well they last.
Working with a food company in the nutritional research division in the late 70’s and early 80’s alpacas were primarily found only in zoos, but the eyes always invited a closer look at alpacas.
Our ranch is dedicated to producing high quality Alpacas on our Farm and to assist others in reaching their goals. Education is essential to a profitable business; we can lend a hand with pedigree evaluation, genetic or nutrition questions.
Alpacas are the best livestock we have ever raised! They are gentle, quiet, shorn once a year and the fiber that you harvest is oh, so soft and lovely to work with!
