National Farm Days, We invite you to meet our alpacas, miniature horses and llamas. Alpaca yarn and alpaca products will be for sale. Fiber arts demonstrations include spinning and felting going on both days. Learn about alpacas and mini horses - find that special Christmas present, too!
How did we learn about alpacas? A report about the Incan civilization in elementary school was a first introduction to camelids. The drawings and information about alpacas and llamas began the fascination. When we learned that alpaca fiber and clothing was used by royalty, this added to the enthrallment. More information over the years led us to find out how great alpaca garments are and how well they last. And what little girl does not love horses? Our minis are real horses in very small packages. They are under 34" tall and posses the confirmation of their full size cousins. Miniature horses are very versatile and can excel in in driving, halter or jumping - or just be an adorable pet. |
